Best Costco Coffee and Walmart Price Comparison
A coffee drinker’s need for a morning cup of caffeine is woven into the very fabric of our culture. Coffee isn’t just a morning beverage, it’s a way of life. T-shirts, mugs, and Facebook memes all poke fun at the lack of cognitive function available to coffee lovers before coffee is consumed. Some coffee lovers have a single cup each day, while others take a large thermos with them to work, sipping on it throughout the entire morning. Whether it comes from a specialty coffee shop, a gas station, or made at home the cost of a daily dose of coffee can add up quick. One might turn to buying those magical grounds in bulk at a club store like Costco. What is the best Costco coffee available, and how do their prices compare to retail giant Walmart?

Best Costco Coffee Prices vs. Walmart
While selection is important, price is often a major consideration when it comes to what coffee a person buys and where they buy it. In a head to head comparison with Walmart, Costco almost always wins. The only exception found was the retailer’s respective store brand medium roast grounds. Costco’s medium roast was almost double the per ounce cost of the store brand offered by Walmart.
Costco’s packages are significantly larger, and coffee does deteriorate over time. Individuals have to determine for themselves if their rate of consumption is too slow for club sized purchases.
Costco has a wide variety of coffee available, and in almost all cases the best per ounce or per Kcup price. If Costco carries your favorite brand, or if you’re willing to try one they stock, you can take advantage of their low prices.
How about you, Clever Friends, did you know Costco offered such a variety of coffees? Where do you buy your coffee?
