The pandemic has made children remain home for some time. It is the responsibility of parents to make sure that their children are safe. Parents have to make sure that their children wash their hands for them to be safe. For children to be healthier, it requires more than washing hands. You have to make sure that they sleep well and eat healthily. To strengthen their immune system, they have to take a portion of well-balanced diet food. The most shocking thing is the routine of children is way better than that of their parents. They have a better sleeping routine, and their foods are more nutritious. It is hard to remain consistent when everyone is at home. You should find a way that will encourage you to maintain good relations with your children. You can get more information when you preview dissertation writing help. Here are the things to consider;

Be on the Move

Children should get in a good exercise in their bodies. Parents should ensure that their children are active all day. There are many activities to consider that children love. You can create a schedule for your kids and make sure they follow without fail. You can take them for a walk. They can ride their bikes and many more. One thing they should not miss is sunlight. Some kids prefer remaining indoors the whole day, which is not great for their health. Educate them on the importance of the sun and exercising their bodies. They can play with friends but make sure they follow the rule of social distancing. It is hard for parents to let their children interact with other people during this period, but as long as they are active, even if they are alone, there is no big deal.

Eat Healthily

It is not easy to eat healthy all the time, but during this period, it is vital. You have to make sure that your children eat healthily. It is difficult for children to adapt to certain foods. It takes them more than twenty times to like a given meal. You can train your children slowly by mixing the foods they love with the new ones you want to introduce.  You can use a different technique that can make children eat and enjoy a healthy meal. Make sure that you train your children how to drink a lot of water. If your child is three years, he/ she should drink three cups of water daily. It is a good and easy way of making them drink water. Parents should also do the same by drinking lots of water. You can have a water bottle that will make you remain consistent. Children follow what their parents do. You can be their role model by always encouraging and teaching them the benefits of drinking water.

Tell them to take breaks for drinking water, and after eating, they should do the same.

Be in the Know

Mental health is critical to both children and parents. During this period, children should be social to their friends. It is not a must they meet face to face. They can communicate through video calls and maintain their friendships. If they do not talk, they will go back to school and start feeling alone because forming friendships is difficult. Parents should take it upon themselves to communicate with their kids. Find the time and try to know what your kid is going through and how you can help. Encourage them that things will get better, and they should remain strong.

Back to the Basics

They need to wash their hands thoroughly and avoid touching their faces. It is hard for children not to poke their faces. Find ways that can make them stop. You can consider buying them masks and tell them if they touch their faces, they will wear masks. Most kids hate them. They will not risk touching their faces. By staying sturdy and helping them learn every day, things will get better.
