Phones are a place where people spend a lot of their time. They have a distinctly personal element because they’re you stay in touch with your family and friends. When your family and coworkers or clients are getting in touch with you on the same phone number, it can jumble your priorities. You may feel as though your personal space has been invaded by work. Getting a second phone number can help you compartmentalize your phone interactions for work and your personal interactions. You don’t necessarily need to carry around two phones; that could be logistically impractical and somewhat difficult to keep track of. You won’t have to share your personal contact information with your business contacts just to remain accessible. When you’re off the clock or don’t want to be disturbed by work matters, you can silence those notifications without silencing the personal calls that you want to receive.
Turn Off Your Inner Work Mode

Ultimately, your relationships are a foundational part of your personal life, so you need to give them a high priority when you make a commitment on your schedule.
