Clever Dude’s Week in Review April 9-15, 2007
This week, we’ve been picking up steam here at Clever Dude. I kicked off the week asking the question “Should you still contribute to your 401k when your employer doesn’t match?” It’s a question I had to answer for myself, and I wish I answered it correctly a year ago!
This past week brought a couple sunny days, and I was able to mow the lawn for the first time. However, I had some problems with our very old lawnmower. I gave some lessons on restoring an old lawnmower, as well as saving money when buying a new lawnmower. Too bad all the grass seed I planted last week has washed away in this weekend’s heavy rains. 🙁
Also this week, I summarized the results of the adoption poll and our own status on the topic. I also answered a reader’s question about why adoption costs so much.
At the end of the week, I posted 10 reasons why you shouldn’t complain about paying taxes, which has turned out to be quite a controversial article! On the topic of taxes, I issued a poll to ask how much was your federal tax refund or payment this year.
Finally, I highlighted 5 common money mistakes, and plan to address each one over the next few weeks.
Thanks for reading. Now, why don’t you subscribe to our RSS feed or Email subscriptions?
