Can I get a Mattress Shipped to Me? 5 Mattress Companies and Where They Ship

These days, you can get almost anything sent to your door. Clothes, kitchen items, groceries, you name it. However, the future is here because now you can even get a mattress sent to your house.

So long, fluorescently lit old mattress stores. Goodbye, aggressive sales pitches. Online shopping has just earned another point for why ordering your stuff over the internet is better than going to the store.

Read our list of the best 5 mattress companies that ship online.

Casper Mattress

At this point, you’ve probably heard of Casper Mattress. If not, let us school ya.

Becoming popular among millennials, Casper Mattress is the leader in making online mattress shopping trendy.

This online mattress brand is a hit with customers not only for the convenience, but also for the simple design. Casper Mattress looks sleek, which is attractive to modern day consumers.

Another thing that Casper is known for is their cooling technology. As described on their website, the “open-cell top layer uses convection and conduction to flow heat away from your body.”  Amazing!

Shipping is easy and it arrives between 2-5 business days after it’s been ordered.

Casper offers a “White Glove Delivery” which means you can have your mattress delivered not only to your home, but wherever you’d like it set up in your home. Their service team will assemble it for you, so you don’t have to. This service comes free with the Wave mattress.

Right now, Casper ships to the US, Canada, Germany, Austria, Switzerland, and the UK, but is working to make it available to other countries.

Both shipping and returns are free with Casper, and right now you can find a ton of Casper promo codes on websites like Dealspotr and Groupon.

Helix Sleep

The last online mattress company on our list is Helix Sleep. With showrooms only in New York, this company offers their mattresses online, ditching the old brick and mortar set up.

Helix has gained their reputation by making mattresses for the individual. They believe that since everyone has different tastes when it comes to mattresses, they should build their mattresses with a custom focus.

Before you buy, you take a “Sleep Quiz” that only takes a few minutes. This way, Helix can get to know your specific sleep profile and understand what kind of mattress you’re looking for as the customer.

As the company is growing, they are keeping shipping to US and Canada only. Like other mattress companies, they plan to ship to other countries in the future.

Avocado Mattress

If you’re earth-conscious, Avocado Mattress is the online mattress store brand for you. Boasting their organically made materials Avocado is a great way to keep your home non-toxic.

Avocado uses 100% natural Dunlop latex that comes from “tree-tapped and sustainable sources.” They do not use toxic memory foam, icky chemical adhesives, or harmful polyurethane foams. They offer a thorough list of the materials they use on their website so that no customer is left in the dark.

While Avocado does not ship internationally at this point, they do hint on their Shipping page that they plan on shipping internationally in the future.

But don’t worry, Avocado does ship to Alaska and Hawaii at no additional shipping cost.

After you’ve ordered your mattress, it’ll take 3-7 business days to make it (they make it by order!). It should take about 9 business days to ship after that.

You can receive your order by Fedex or in-home delivery. In-home delivery can be arranged for $149. This means they’ll help you install your mattress, which can be helpful if you live somewhere with stairs or can’t carry heavy packages. In-home deliveries also include removing your old mattress!

In-home delivery is actually a requirement for all King sized mattresses due to the weight, but Avocado only charges $99 more for that.

When scheduling an in-home delivery, you will block out a 4 hour window for your mattress delivery.

While Avocado offers great prices, you make the deal a little sweeter by checking their sale page or find discounts from coupon websites.

Leesa Mattress

Made in the USA, Leesa Mattress is a front runner for quality mattresses. They’re a charity-minded company that donates one mattress to at-risk homeless men and women for every ten that they sell.

However, just like other online mattress companies on this list, the shipping is limited.

Currently, Leesa ships to the US, Canada, UK, and Germany. The Sapira Mattress, the Leesa Artlifting Limited Edition Mattress, Leesa Blanket, Leesa Foundation, and Leesa pillow are only available to ship to the US.

On the flip side and similar to the others, shipping is free!

Endy Sleep

Another online mattress store choice is Endy Sleep, which has gained a very positive reputation in the mattress industry.

This Canadian mattress company won the Top 100 Innovator award from Techweek due to its unique and inventive design.

With a low return rate, Endy Mattress is a Canadian favorite. However, if you’re not from Canada or the US, you’ll have to wait on the mattress giant to expand outside of North America. If you are a North American resident, though, make sure you check out any available promo codes before you make your final purchase.

Endy ships to all 10 Canadian provinces, but will do custom orders to the Canadian Territories.

Shop and Zzzz

Find a great mattress without ever leaving your home. With these 5 impressive examples, you can’t go wrong.

Since the idea of online mattress companies is still pretty new, finding mattresses that ship to places other than Canada and the US can be hard. This will change as these companies continue to grow and progress.

Soon, buying your mattress online won’t be anything out of the ordinary. The future of sleep is bright!

  • Hi Susan, I had a Botanical Bliss shipped to me, and I love it! It’s a little more on the luxury side than the ones listed, because it is made from 100% natural latex – healthy – it doesn’t off gas, antimicrobial. But, the best part is how it curves to my spine and doesn’t make me overheat at night! Guess that is two things :-). Just in case in of your readers are interested, here is where I got it: https://www.plushbeds.com/Botanical-Bliss-Organic-Latex-Mattress.html

    Blessings,

    Jane
