With 2,419 five-star ratings, the MacBook Air (13.3-inch) is the best overall laptop available for sale on costco.com.
The MacBook Air is an overall great machine. This computer is a premium ultraportable laptop. It’s Apple’s entry-level laptop and the successor to the Apple MacBook Air 13 (M1, 2020). This 2023 model has many improvements over previous years, including a newer CPU technology, longer battery life, a slightly larger display (13.3 inches vs. 13 inches), a better 1080p webcam, and an additional charging port. It’s available in Midnight, Starlight, Space Gray, and Silver. On Costco’s site, the laptop looks like this:
Most review sites, such as rtings, and wired generally give it favorable write-ups.
The computer is popular because of the value it brings for the price point, but also because Costco has an excellent return policy on laptops and offers access to Apple Care.
Costco has the best pricing on this item. For non-members, the machine is selling for $949.00. This is less expensive than the listed price of $999 on Apple’s website. If you want this laptop for cheaper, Amazon is selling similar, but older models for $689.

Best Gaming Laptop at Costco
According to buyer reviews and Costco’s marketing department, the best Costco gaming laptop is the MSI GE68HXS Raider 16″.
Here it is in all its glory.
If you’re looking for a laptop that can handle your workload and also crush some noobs in its spare time, then this is the machine for you. This portable gaming powerhouse has everything you need to tackle AAA games at a high refresh rate to help give you a leg up on your competition.
Just to give you a glance at the Costco spec sheet, this laptop has a 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i9-13950HX Processor. It is also paired with 32GB of DDR5 memory and a terabyte of disk space. On top of that, you get other modern features such as Killer Wi-Fi 6E, a high-resolution integrated 1080p webcam.

All this gaming performance comes at a respectable price of just $1,599.99 on Costco’s website. This is substantially better than the $2,699 MSI.com is charging and the $2,599 Amazon will bill you.
Best Costco HP Laptop
With an average rating of 4.7 out of 5 stars, the absolute best Hewlett Packard Laptop currently sold by Costco is the HP 17.3 13th Generation Intel Core i5-1335U. This is a lot of words for HP’s latest model – but it’s a good value so Costco sells a lot of them. It looks like this:
User reviews of this laptop are mixed. Most people generally give it good marks for reliably performing basic tasks. However, the laptop is not well-rated when it comes to quality of construction and ergonomics.
For example, a Best Buy reviewer said this:
This laptop is pretty fast and smooth. However, the laptop is VERY flimsy. The touchpad flexes quite drastically and causes many issues when attempting to scroll. The wifi connection often fails and needs to be restarted in order to connect. The keyboard marking are very difficult to see; silver keyboard with thin black letters and numbers, terrible contrast. The screen quality and clarity is not great. Overall not a terrible laptop, but not worth the cost…

Even though the reviews are mixed, HP has sold components. The HP 17.3″ Laptop features a 13th Gen Intel® Core™ i5-1335U (10-Core) Processor, 12GB DDR4 3200MHz RAM, and a 512GB PCIe® NVMe™ M.2 Solid State Drive for an optimum balance of performance and storage.
It has a 17.3″ IPS Anti-Glare FHD (1920 x 1080) Display for premium visuals, plus Wi-Fi 6 (1 x 1) Gig+ and Bluetooth® 5.3 to keep you connected without any interruptions. The laptop also comes with HP True Vision 720p HD Camera with Dual Array, which is perfect for work or family communications.
Costco is selling this for $699. Like the other laptops in this list, Costco beats the HP store price of $919 and the $729 bucks that Amazon is charging.
