Clever Posts Of The Week – April 3rd
Springtime in the Midwest means warmer temperatures, and warmer temperatures means lower utility bills. I just received my monthly email from my utility company, and my natural gas bill is about a 1/3 lower. I expect it to drop even more next month. The question is, what do we do with the extra cash? Every other year, we just seem to blow it on extra entertainment, or on ourselves. But this year I’d like to do something more meaningful with it. What do you do with your extra money from lower utility bills in the Spring and Fall?

Hey Brock, thanks for the mention! We don’t seem to see the benefit unfortunately as our costs get spread out through the year to balance them out a bit, but I can imagine it would be good to have the extra cash available in the summer. Hope you enjoy it 🙂
