American Express $250 Bonus!
It’s been over 2 years, but American Express has FINALLY brought back the 25,000 mile ($250) bonus. This time around, though, it’s a bit trickier to get the bonus, but still very reasonable for many consumers. Read more below.
The American Express(R) Premier Rewards Gold Card (The offer has ended, but feel free to click through to see the current offer!) bonus is good only until 4/26/2010, so act soon! In order to get the 25000 bonus points, you must make at least $1000 in spending in your first 3 months. The 25000 points can be redeemed toward one domestic coach-class ticket or $250 in gift cards from such stores as GAP, Barnes&Nobles, Home Depot, Bath and Body Works, and many more.
Also, there are no fees for the first year. (And if you’re a big spender and put at least $30,000 on your card in the first year, you’ll earn another 15,000 bonus points!)

I did this 2+ years ago and it was fantastic. Was going to try again but when I clicked through your link, the rewards were not the same:
# Earn 10,000 Membership Rewards® bonus points when you spend $500 in 3 months of Card membership- redeemable for a $100 gift card.1
Is there a different link available?

Seems my affiliate company’s email link takes me to their old site which doesn’t have this offer. I posted the non-affiliated link until they clear it up. But thanks for the catch!

Hey CD,
I was just wondering how the card companies are able to stay in business while still giving out these kind of deals. I guess it’s because most people don’t follow sound tips on budgeting and credit card discipline so they end up paying through the nose in interest.
This is truly a great opportunity so long as people treat the card responsibly.
Cheers,
Guy

I love AMEX. I have a gold card for my business and a personal one for my costco membership. They have great OFX support so it works great with Inzolo and my envelope budget system.
