Are women with MBA degrees at a disadvantage?
I just read a very interesting article by a new writer called One Snarky Chica with Issues titled “I don’t have the right package to get a business-related job“. I don’t want to steal the heart of the article as I think you should go read it for yourself in its entirety, but here’s the basics:
Chica graduated with her MBA late last year and has been having a world of trouble finding an MBA-quality position in her new city, even though there are corporations galore.
However, she’s found something very interesting just by changing a single letter in her name…read her post to find out what!

Interesting…
No doubt men are preferred in male dominated business industries. However, I have an MBA and I’ve never had a problem finding a job. Not just any job, but the actual job(s) I wanted and pursued.
Unfortunately, many graduates develop a sense of entitlement when they’re able to put a few letters behind their name. So what it costs $xxx to earn the degree. What did you learn and how can you apply it to the real world? Employers look for tangible AND intangible skills. The degree is just a piece of paper that opens the door. It takes much more than that to walk through it.
