Thanks for the Hits: March 2009 Traffic Numbers
Sigh, school has taken a bite out of my time again in March, but at least I wrote more articles than in February. You can see from my Archives Page that I wrote 19 articles in March (same as January), up from 12 in February, but down from my highs in the 30s-50s. The semester is only a month from being over, so I hope to get more motivation to write. Luckily I had a number of good guest articles this month to fill in the gaps!
My traffic was pretty even for Jan, Feb and March this year, so it’s good to not see traffic dropping (but I would like to see traffic going up as well). Same goes for subscriber numbers, which are hovering between the 2200-2300 mark. If only I wrote something that was interesting to people again…
Traffic Sources
At a high level:
Search Engines: 62% (was 64% in Jan)
Referring Sites: 23% (was 22% in Jan)
Direct Traffic: 15% (was 14% in Jan)
Top Personal Finance Blog Referrers
And now to what everyone (or at least every PF blog) reads this article for: my top referrers for February. You’ll see last month’s rank after the new rank in (). If they weren’t ranked last month, you’ll see a (-).
Oh, and thanks to the bloggers who stuck through last month with me, considering the lack of decent articles! I hope to redeem myself soon!

Sigh. One day when my blog grows up I want to be just like you!
