Ladies, help us guys, please!
I’m not going to lie. It’s pretty difficult for a heterosexual male, including myself, to not glance at a pretty, young lady, whether it be at the store, on a walk, at the gym, or even at work. But, as I wrote before, us guys have methods to both respect those ladies as well as our own ladies.
As I mentioned in my previous article, it’s our duty to respect another man’s wife, daughter, sister, girlfriend, etc. by not thinking sexual thoughts about her in our own mind. You wouldn’t want them thinking things about your wife, would you? Of course we have to fight nature every second of our lives (testosterone), but we’re also fighting society. What control do we have over that? Well, very little, so that’s why I’m writing to the ladies in this article.
Ladies, please, before you leave the house, ask yourself the following questions:
- Would my husband/boyfriend (if applicable) get excited by what I’m wearing?
- Am I showing skin between my knees and shoulders (not including arms)?
- Are my clothes tight enough to see my bra or panty outline?
- If I sat down with this skirt (if applicable), would half or more of my thigh show?
- Can I see any of my cleavage? If not, what about if I lean over a bit?
If you can answer Yes to any of the above questions, then maybe you should change into something where you can answer No to all of the questions. Here’s my reasoning: if you fall into my line of sight, and you’re in the least bit attractive to me (you don’t need to be a model to be attractive to the average guy), I can 1) bounce my eyes or 2) stare and have your body engraved in my mind. Notice I didn’t say an option to just not look? That’s right, I can’t give that option. It’s impossible for me to not notice you. Nature has taken care of that option.
So back to you. You can help me by covering up a bit more so my eyes won’t be so eager to linger so long. Now, you can still dress stylishly, but honestly, stylish doesn’t need to mean sexy. Leave the sexiness at home for your husband, and keep your modesty intact.
I’ve asked my wife to change because I put myself in other men’s shoes. How would another man see her in those tight, little running shorts and top? Well, heck, I’ve seen guys oggling at her from their cars as we run along the road. They try to hide behind those sunglasses, but I know they’re not staring at that petunia display in the home behind us. It’s my wife’s decision to listen to me or not, but she’s well aware now of my mission to save my eyes and mind for only her. So, she respects my wishes and also thinks about all those other men trying to save their own eyes (and those who aren’t but should be).
To summarize, ladies, help us guys to avoid the male stereotype as lusting pigs, and we’ll do our part by respecting your bodies. Now, guys, let’s take this “Bouncing the Eyes” thing one step further by avoiding places like Hooters and gentlemen’s clubs.
