Updated My Personal Finance Reader List: Sept 4, 2008
If you want to know which Personal Finance blogs I subscribe to, then click on over to my Personal Finance Reader List page. The prior update was June 4, and I just updated it again yesterday.
Right now there are 75 blogs on the list (including my own), which happens to be the same number as 3 months ago. However, I’ve dropped some blogs and added others. Check to see if you made it onto the list, and feel free to petition me to add you to the list.
I must warn you, though, that if you don’t write with much of a personal flare, I probably won’t read your site. If it’s pure finance-speak like investing, taxes or other boring (to me) content, forget about asking unless you also add a personal touch to the articles.
You’ll notice the sites on my list all have a highly personal edge to them. What I like is their stories or at least that they make me aware of deals I wouldn’t otherwise know about. While posting tons of affiliate links might earn you money, it doesn’t make you a good personal finance site. I also have to remind myself of that too.

OK, I admit to being a little disappointed that I didn’t pass the cut. I’m off to work on my flair.

Cancel that, I didn’t look under the “T’s” for “The” Frugal Dad. Whew…flair still in tact.

Good god! I’m glad to be in there! No The Money Ning for me too! 😀

So glad to remain in your list! This is one list I am honored to be part of. Thanks CD!
